Nearly two dozen chefs competed (see full list below) with the crown being claimed by <strong>Will Horowitz of Duck&#8217;s Eatery</strong> of the East Village! The full list of judges awards went to:</p>
<p>Best Traditional Smoked Brisket<br />
1. Fletcher&#8217;s BBQ for their smoked meat with pickled chilies<br />
2. Duck&#8217;s Eatery Ducks for their smoked meat<br />
3. Morgan&#8217;s BBQ for their smoked meat</p>
<p>Best Non-traditional Brisket<br />
1. Duck&#8217;s Eatery for their 6-month-aged smoked brisket<br />
2. Tchoup Shop for their brisket and gravy<br />
3. East Village Meat Market for their ham cured brisket</p>
<p>Best Most Innovative Brisket<br />
1. Mokbar for their nori taco with pulled brisket sweet brown rice and cucumber kimchi<br />
2. Kutchers Tribeca for their braised brisket on potato pancake</p>
